Creative disruptions can cause us to pause and reconsider the consumptive choices we make on a daily basis. For instance, if millions of people make a small change like cutting back on bottled water, we could prevent a huge waste of oil and energy (enough to fuel a million cars for a year), prevent the waste itself (80% of bottles end up in landfills), and spend the money saved on improving public water.

Individual choices and action matter…they all add up.
